Prime Minister Anthony Albanese speaks against ‘disgusting’ Mark Latham, open at the meeting with XI Jinping

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese says he regrets Mark Latham, who has ever led the Labor Party and described the former leader’s views as “disgusting”.

The comments came in an extensive interview with 7.30, where Albanese talked to China on his journey to China, his relationship with President Xi Jinping, and whether he felt that the United States would be concerned about their meeting.

When Albanese was in China, Latham-NSW’s MP, independent of his NSW MP, to resign after the claims he participated in the unanimous sex video of the Parliament office, which was born as part of his former partner Nathalie Matthews’ emotional and physical abuse.

Latham has denied the breach of law or the breach of legislative regulations, and as a former labor leader, his portrait is still hanging in the Parliament House Workers’ Party.

Federal Labor decided on Monday that the portrait will remain hanging and the new text will be added by creating: “In 2017, Mark Latham was expelled from the Australian Labor Party and banned the whole life. His activities are not with labor values and do not meet expected standards.”

Tanya Plibersek previously told ABC that Latham’s election for party leadership was the only thing that made him cry during a long political career.

Mr. Albanese was asked if he wanted to take the picture down and when he stopped short, he commented on Latham’s leadership.

“I didn’t want Mark Latham to be the leader of the Labor Party, and I was very clear at the time,” Mr. Albanese told at 7.30 before he spoke of the decision to keep the portrait hanging.

“It’s a historical fact. It’s a bit like statues and many things, history exists. A way to deal with the changes that have happened.

Mark Latham has views that I think reflect in many areas.

Latham was elected to the federal labor management in December 2003 when he won Kim Beazley.

He would lose the 2004 Federal Elections to the Minister of Coalition, John Howard, dropping five extra seats to a landlord defeat.

Mr. Albanese told 7.30 that Latham was unfortunate.

“He’s someone I am sorry for that I have ever been selected as a ledity leader”

Mr. Albanese said.

“It’s something I fought hard when I was one of the people who made numbers to Kim Beazley in that vote.

“I think history has shown that the judgment is right.”

Unfortunately not at the XI meeting

Mr. Albanese expanded his private lunch, Xi Jinping, which he told to nine newspapers about personal exchange between two leaders.

The meeting came in a week when Angus Taylor, the Ministry of Defense of the Federal Opposition, urged Australia to take a stronger attitude from possible Chinese or Taiwan activities against Taiwan.

The Prime Minister said he would not break X’s confidence by releasing the details of their discussion, but said it was related to their personal history.

“It had not discussed the state issues that we did at a formal bilateral meeting as President of China and as Prime Minister of Australia, it spoke more about personal issues, our history, our background,” he said at 7.30.

“I have learned a relatively little … I think he is a pretty private person and it is important that you can have these conversations … and I feel like we’ll know each other a lot more.”

We printed whether the couple was talking about Taiwan because Xin’s father’s final role in the Chinese Communist Party was to continue to merge Taiwan, Albanese said no.

“He is undoubtedly important to him, and he has expressed a clear picture of Taiwan and Australia is also a clear vision.”

He said.

“We support the status quo when it comes to Taiwan’s Strait.”

Mr. Albanese said he had no reason to trust his Chinese colleague.

“I have previously said that everything he has said to me is filled,” the Prime Minister said.

“He has given me the personal commitments of the personal commitments.

“It does not mean that he agrees with everything I have made far away from it, but rather than someone international by saying,” Yep, we can do everything “and then do the opposite.”

Although the coalition has criticized Albanese because he was not inevitable with Donald Trump after his second term of office, the Prime Minister sought to dispel concerns about consumer optics in China and personal time with XI.

Whether Kevin Rudd of the Australian Ambassador of Australia included a damage surveillance on behalf of the government.

It was an idea that the Prime Minister opposed.

“I’m sure Kevin Rudd has been dealing with the United States in a normal way”

He said.

“I would have thought that Australia commits to our most important trading partners is something very sensible.

“I visited the United States five times since I was a prime minister, I’ve been to China twice.

“China is our most important trading partner. One of the four Australian jobs depends on the shop and China is higher. Exports, export trade with China is more than the next four countries together.”

Childcare inheritance?

Once the parliament is set up, one major government is a crisis in the Australian childcare sector.

Recent ABC reports have revealed several questions in the field and before the alleged pedophile Joshua Dale Brown was charged with 70 of eight children’s crimes between October 2021 and February 2024, including sexual violence and producing children’s exploitation material.

“We have to do better,” Mr. Albanese said to improve in the childcare industry.

“That is why this week, we are presenting an important legislation that allows the Commonwealth to exercise power that we have, which is mainly financial and use increased access to ensure that the Commonwealth can play a role there.”

Mr. Albanese said he could understand the parents’ concerns and that he was not focused on his own inheritance, rather on the safety of children.

“By far, childcare centers are good in the way they work, and we should not grab the whole sector to what has been serious things,” he said.

“It would cause tremendous anxiety and I understand it as a parent who has a child in childcare.

I’m not worried about the heritage, I’m worried about the safety of children.
