Carbon abduction and sequence (CCS) is basically a technology that has potential to capture about 90% of carbon dioxide emissions produced by the use of fossil fuels in industrial processes and power generation to help prevent carbon dioxide from entering the atmosphere. The CCS chain consists mainly of three parts known to capture carbon dioxide, carbon dioxide transport and carbon dioxide storage with deep salty ground floor formations or underground empty oil and gas fields. Carbon abduction and sequence markets are estimated to increase during the forecast period as environmental problems are increasing with increasing demand for carbon dioxide-Eor techniques. However, the high cost of coal capture and sequence may limit the growth of carbon capture and sequence markets.
