AppleCare One includes all the benefits of AppleCare+, including unlimited repairs to accidents such as drops or leaks, 24/7 Apple expert support and battery cover. AppleCare One adds to theft and loss protection outside the iPhone to cover the iPad and Apple Watch.
For the first time, Apple lets customers add AppleCare coverage to the Apple products they already own. The new order plan allows customers to add the most products up to 4 years if they are in good condition. To ensure that the device is “in good condition”, a diagnostic check may be required with a customer’s iPhone or iPad or on the Apple Store before adding to the plan.
“AppleCare One pricing is the same regardless of covered products, which means that the customer can enroll in the iPhone, the iPad and Apple Watch and save up to $ 11 a month to sign up for every device,” Apple explained in a press release.
This means that if someone buys the AppleCare One application when purchasing a new MacBook Pro and adds to the iPhone plan, they are already saving money by not having two separate AppleCare+ plans. In addition, they get even more value if they contain another device such as Apple Watch.
