Here’s something you may not have known: if you write a particular number and brand series on the Android phone selection device, you will reveal “hidden” diagnostics and telephone information. Despite blurring the feature, Google is apparently working on its upgrade.
As notified by Android authoritiesWhen you open a phone app on your Android device, enter * *Grind*#4636#*#*and then select, the hidden menu appears in three key sets: “Telephone information”, “Operation Statistics” and “Wi-Fi data”. For the sake of clarity, this is not knowledge of most smartphones must really know. In fact, according to Android Authority, most of this feature information is used by users to lock the phones in a specific network type – IE 3G, 4G or 5G – when they want to make sure that their phone does not change between the net lane width.
Although the Android ownership audience (or useful) is not widely aware of this code, Google is still working on new advances and its features. If the Android Canary Canary Channel on Smartphone – Software that gives users access to the earliest buildings of future Android versions – you will now notice the fourth menu as you write this code for your choice: Telephone information v2.
What has changed ” telephone information v2 ‘
This seems to be a new version of the existing telephone information page. This menu presents a series of data points on the same page, while V2 separates it into four tabs: “Device Information”, “Data & Network”, “Satellite” and “Ims.” Smartphones are able to connect to satellites when cellular networks are down, this may be important information to diagnose the problems of these connections.
What do you think so far?
My Android phone doesn’t have an active SIM file, so I can’t try it for myself, but I believe this is a useful step for anyone who enjoys digging deeper into the phone’s information and diagnostics. Since this is only on the Kanary channel for the time being, it is not clear when this new menu will get a formal structure or whether it changes between an official publication. But it is interested in what Google works behind the scenes, especially when the feature is relatively hidden and unclear.
