“I feel good. My balance is terrible. It’s like being on a boat,” the American singer and songwriter explained.
Joel said his brain condition was once called “water on the brain, now known as hydrocephalus, normal pressure hydrocephalus.”
The cause of the disease remains unknown.

Joel admitted that he thought the condition was alcoholic, but confirmed that he would no longer drink.
“I used to be like a fish,” he said.
“I feel good. I think they keep mentioning the brain disease I have. So it sounds much worse than what I feel.”
Joel was forced to postpone the dates of several concerts in March due to medical conditions, which required surgery.
Dates in Toronto, Detroit, Syracuse, Salt Lake City, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Charlotte and Milwaukee are transferred to the late 2025 period.
A statement on his behalf said: “(Billy)’s upcoming concert date will be rescheduled due to medical conditions. The current trip will be postponed for four months to enable him to recover from recent surgery and receive physical therapy under the supervision of a doctor.”
Fans don’t worry, Joel “is expected to recover completely.”
Joel made his own statement, which read: “While I regret postponing any show, my health must come first. I look forward to getting back on stage and sharing the joy of live music with our amazing fans. Thank you for your understanding.”
